Do you have an event planned that falls under the Public Assemblies City Ordinance?
Public Assemblies Ordinance 4-31
The Bayonne Department of Public Safety, through the BPD Traffic Enforcement Unit, is the lead City agency in the Event Planning Process. Please submit the following:
- Police Permit- Public Assembly
- Hold Harmless Agreement
- Title page of your insurance policy, with a Certificate Holder listed EXACTLY as follows – “City of Bayonne, 630 Avenue C, Bayonne, NJ 07002”
- A CLEAR copy or photograph of an official I.D. (Driver’s License, State ID, Passport)
- Site Map. This should be a simple, clear plan that shows the physical scope of the event along with locations of notable features, such as tents, rides, food stands, vehicles.
- Letter of Intent
Print, sign, scan and email these documents to traffic@bayonnepd.org OR deliver to the Traffic Unit.
Any questions, please call the Traffic Enforcement Unit, during normal business hours at 201-858-6963.
Upon review by the Traffic Unit the submitted package will be disseminated to all other Stakeholders/City Agencies for their input/approval.
Upon full approval the completed, approved package will be disseminated to the Event Organizer/Permit Holder and all other listed City agencies.
